Born Dec. 7, 1979, in Meyersdale, he was the son of Richard Lynn and Sandra Kay (Beals) Lichty, with whom he resided. Mr. Lichty was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ira K. and Anna Pauline (Vought) Lichty. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and was employed as a furniture assembler at Maple Mountain Industries, Meyersdale. A 1998 graduate of Salisbury-Elk Lick High School, he was on the soccer team for three years, basketball team for four years, ski club for three years and was secretary of the FFA. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Jessica Kay Lichty, at home, and his maternal grandparents, Ward E. and Betty J. (Kinsinger) Beals Sr., Meyersdale. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev.
