Lichty, 68, Lincoln Street, Somerset, died Feb.27, 1984, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born July 26, 1915, in St. Paul, a daughter of the late Calvin and Bertha (Faidley) Sechler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Jacob G.; one sister, Pauline; and a brother, Fay Sechler. She is survived by: two sons, Barry S., married to the former Lladel Moore, Indian Lake; and Terry L., Bridgeton, N.J.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and these sisters: Ethel Brant, Friedens RD 1; Margaret McVicker, Stoystown RD 1; and Catherine Winters, Somerset; and a half-sister, Mrs. Lola Swearman, Summit Mills. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ and Mt. Tabor's Women's Guild. Arrangements are incomplete. Friends received after 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. LICHTY Funeral service for Dorothy E. Lichty will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where friends are being received, the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh and the Rev. Patricia Harrington officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
