  LICHTY
  
    Elsie L. "Bruce" Lichty, 73, of Listonburg, died Dec. 13, 1998, at
  Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg.  Born Feb. 27, 1925 in Lower
  Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of the late Russell R. Kemp and
  Oretta Christena (Rugg) Nicholson.  In addition to her parents, she
  was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Lichty, daughter
  Pamela, step-father, Charles Nicholson, and two sisters, Elvie Hoover
  and Vilda Holliday.  Survived by two sons, John C. "Cub" Lichty of
  Listonburg and Darwin Kemp of Sewell, N.J.; three grandchildren; five
  brothers: Alvin Nicholson and Reece Nicholson, both of Confluence;
  Gabriel Nicholson, of Fort Hill, Roger Nicholson of Listonburg and
  Rampsey Nicholson of North Carolina; and three sisters, Cindy
  Sheaffer of Apollo, Norma Snyder, Accident, Md., and Joyce
  Porterfield, of Confluence.  Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m.
  today at Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be
  held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Snyder officiating. 
  Interment Addison Cemetery.
