GEORGE LICHTY

  George Lichty, a native of Lavansville, this county, died recently at his home 
in Waterloo, Ia., where he was prominent and successful in business for many 
years, from a heart attack.  He was about 62 years of age.  He is survived by 
his wife and several children.  Miss Nettie Lichty, of Somerset, is a surviving 
sister at present sick in a Baltimore hospital.
  Mr. Lichty made annual visits to Somerset, his last one a few months ago.
