Lichty, 58, of Listonburg, died April 25, 1979 in the Veterans Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 28, 1920, in Addison Township, he was a son of the late Charles and Laura (Lenhart) Lichty. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Kemp Lichty; two children: John C. and Pam, both of Listonburg; a step-son, Darwin Kemp of Confluence RD 3; and one sister, Mrs. Mildred Rose of Addison. He was a member of the Uniontown VFW, Post 47; the Ursina American Legion; and the Confluence I.O.O.F. He served as postmaster of Listonburg for 18 years. Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral home, Confluence, where funeral services were held with the Rev. Richard McClintock officiating. Interment, Addison Cemetery.
