Born Sept. 18, 1937, in Chambersburg, son of the late Leslie Ray Lightfoot Sr. Survived by his mother, Esther (Mowery) Lightfoot, Shippensburg; wife of 36 years, the former Jo Rene Moore; son, Charles Lightfoot, Harrisburg, and daughter, Mrs. Brian (Barbara) Smith, Palmyra, Pa. Brother of Sharon Davidson, Shippensburg; Thomas Lightfoot, Arlington, Va.; Judy Dakin, Reston, Va.; and Mrs. Hugh (Nancy) Vaughn, Denver, Pa. Employeed [sic] by Dept. of Vocation Rehabilitation as a supervisor, Johnstown. Member of Middlecreek Golf Industrial League; Elks Lodge, Meyersdale, and National Rifle Association. Graduate of Shippensburg University. A memorial service, under the direction of the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1995, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, Pastor Robert Hoover, officiating. No viewing or receiving of friends.
