Her husband had left her preparing the morning wash while doing the chores around the barn, and upon his return to the house found her dead. Mrs. Limburg was born in Germany on Mar. 27, 1866, and was aged 64 years and 4 months. When young she emigrated to the United States, and settled in the Pittsburgh district. She was married to Wilhelm Limburg about 45 years ago. About twenty years ago the family moved from Pittsburgh to a farm near Ursina, where they have resided since. Mrs. Limburg was a member of the North Side German Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh practically all her life. She was a sincere Christian, and was a devoted mother and had the respect and admiration of a host of friends. She is survived by her husband, three sons, John W. Limburg of Chicago; Carl A. Limburg of New York and William C. Limburg of Pittsburgh; one daughter, Mrs. Anna Munzinger of Pittsburgh, four grandchildren and one sister who resides in Germany. Short funeral services were held at the Humbert funeral parlors on Tuesday, July 28th, at 1 p.m., Rev. Geo. O. Ritter officiating, after which the body was removed to the home of her daughter in Pittsburgh, where funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 30th. Interment in Smithfield Cemetery, Forbes Street, Pittsburgh. Meyersdale Republican, August 6, 1931
