Lindeman, 77, of Boynton, died February 19 in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Meyersdale January 28, 1900, he was a son of the late Samuel and Susan (Hutzell) Lindeman. Mr. Lindeman was a member of the Boynton Church of God and Carpenters Union Local 1024, Cumberland. Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Maggie M. (Fate) Lindeman, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alverta Brown, of Boynton and Mrs. Betty Durst, Grantsville RD; three sons, Paul Lindeman and Charles Lindeman, both of Boynton, and John W. Lindeman Jr., Frostburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Albright, Salisbury, and Mrs. Minnie Saylor, Akron, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home where services were conducted with Rev. Robert Silver officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, February 24, 1977 [L0907]
