In February he had an attack of pneumonia from which he never fully recovered. He was again overcome by the same disease and upon the advice of the attending physician, fearing other complications were about to set in, he was at once rushed to a hospital in Johnstown where all was done that was possible to do to save the child's life, but of no avail. His last illness lasted only a few days, but was very severe. There remains to mourn his loss, his parents and three sisters. One brother preceded him in death about five years ago. He was a bright and lovable child and will be greatly missed by the family. Funeral services were held in the Summit Mills Brethren Church at 2:30, Thursday, May 21, Rev. Willis E. Ronk of Meyersdale officiating. Interment in the Lichty Cemetery. Joseph Tressler was the funeral director in charge. Meyersdale Republican, May 28, 1931
