Lindeman, aged 80, died Sunday morning, July 5, at 3:20 o'clock at the family home in Summit Township, near Garrett, following a protracted illness. He was born in Somerset County September 17, 1861, and a considerable portion of his life was spent in the employ of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad company. He was a son of Henry and Jane (Hart) Lindeman, both deceased. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Jane (Seibert) Lindeman, five daughters and three sons, as follows: Mrs. Bertha Ludwig and Mrs. Edith Fuller, of Connellsville; Mrs. Della McCabe and Mrs. Esther Tussing, of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Verda Bittner, of Johnstown; William H. Lindeman, Connellsville; Henry H. Lindeman, Akron, Ohio, and Charles H. Lindeman at home. He also leaves 34 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. Mr. Lindeman was a member of the Main Street Brethren Church in Meyersdale. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Archie Lynn of Johnstown at the Lindeman home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in the Garrett Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price & Son, Meyersdale morticians.
