  LINDEMAN
  
  Nevin E. Lindeman, 88, of Watson Ave., Friedens RD, was pronounced
  dead April 5, 2002, at home.  Born Feb. 11, 1914, in Meyersdale, son
  of Cleveland and Velma (Schrock) Lindeman.  Preceded in death by
  parents, first wife Bernice (Streng), second wife Celestie L.
  (Hutzell), step-daughter Bertha Mitchell, great-great-granddaughter
  Kayla Jones and sister Emma Bowser.  Survived by children, David of
  Meyersdale, Carolyn Hackwelder of East Windsor, N.J., and Timothy of
  Indian Lake, 13 grandchildren and numerous great- and
  great-great-grandchildren.  A U.S. veteran of World War II.  Retired
  truck driver for Fetterolf Mining Inc.  Following cremation, a
  private service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements by
  Hoffman Funeral Homes, Boswell.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be
  sent to the American Lung Association, 6041 Linglestown Road,
  Harrisburg, PA 17112.
