Mr. Lindeman, who was a son of the late Perry and Ellen (Weller) Lindeman, life-long residents of Summit Mills, had not been in good health for some time. For a number of years he was associated with J. Vincent Sayler in the conduct of an automobile repair shop on Clay Street, but was forced to retire on account of the condition of his health. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lula (Logue) Lindeman; five children, Gilbert, Clyde and the Misses Dorothy and Hilda Lindeman, Meyersdale, and Mrs. Elizabeth Seibert, Somerset; a step-son, Allen Tipton, Confluence; five brothers and three sisters: Melvin and Roy Lindeman, Meyersdale; Marshall Lindeman, North Dakota; Preston Lindeman, Sand Patch; Homer Lindeman, Summit Mills; Mrs. Pearl Grew, Mann's Choice; Mrs. Myrtle Butterbaugh, Summit Mills; Mrs. Fannie King, Merrits, Pa., and three grandchildren. Mr. Lindeman was a kindly dispositioned man, a good citizen, and leaves many friends who mourn his departure. Brief funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Saturday afternoon, at the Lindeman home and at 2 o'clock in the Brethren Church at Summit Mills by the pastor, Rev. Orville A. Lorenz, with interment in the Lichty Cemetery, near Summit Mills, under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, local mortician. Meyersdale Republican, January 9, 1941
