Lindeman, 84, of State College, died Nov. 28, 1997, in Centre Community Hospital, State College. Born March 12, 1913 in Glade City, a son of the late William and Martha (Whitford) Lindeman. Also preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Pugh; infant son, William Glenn Lindeman; and daughter, Donna J. Stevens. Survived by his second wife, the former Dorothy Kretchman; daughter, Sandara L. Herandel, Corpus Cove, Texas; three sons: Robert P. Lindeman, Rochester, N.Y.; Thomas W. Lindeman, Salisbury; and Duane M. Lindeman, Meyersdale; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and a sister Nelle Swank, Boalsburg. He retired in 1975 as a tile setter for Hard Swank Tile Setting Co. A member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Boalsburg. Veteran US Army WWII. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment St. Paul-Wilhelm Cemetery, in St. Paul.
