Lindeman, 72, died Saturday, August 13, 2005, in Rochester, N.Y. Born July 15, 1933 in Meyersdale, he was a son of Richard W. Lindeman and Clara E. (Pugh) Lindeman Blake. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Robert W., brother Clark William "Billy"; sister Donna Stevens and stepfather "Abe" Blake. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Forr) Lindeman; sons: Scott (Cindi) of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Brett (Jeni) of Rochester; daughters: Jennifer (Philip) Allred of Rigby, Idaho; and Elizabeth (Russell) Green of Redmond, Wash.; brothers: Thomas (Miriam) of Salisbury; and Duane (Roberta) of Meyersdale; a sister, Sandra (Joe) Hernandez of Copperas Cove, Texas; aunts, Ada Pugh of Meyersdale and Ruth (Pugh) Gerhart of Parma Heights, Ohio; stepmother Dorothy (Kretchman) Lindeman of State College; cousin Daniel Pugh of Meyersdale; 16 grandchildren: Robert, Katharine, Gregory, Mitchell, Michael, Mary, Amanda, Matthew, Jacob, Ryan and David Lindeman, Andrew, Jacob and Lauren Allred, William and Aaron Green and several nieces and nephews. A veteran of the Air Force, Bob graduated in 1961 from Penn State, and moved to Rochester. He remained an avid Nittany Lions football fan throughout his life. He retired in 1993 after 23 years as a bank auditor. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar. Interment was in White Haven Memorial Park, Rochester.
