  VELMA LINDEMAN
  
    Mrs. Velma Lindeman, 84, of Friedens RD 1, died August 19, 1978 at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born September 19, 1893 in Meyersdale,
  she was a daughter of Henry and Mary (Frickey) Schrock.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleveland J. who
  died in 1954; and a daughter, Emma Mae Bowser.
    She is survived by a son, Nevin E., married to the former Celestie
  Hutzel of Friedens RD 1; eight grandchildren, nine
  great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.  She was a
  sister of Mrs. Iva Gnagey of Meyersdale RD 1; and Mrs. Martha
  Lindeman of Meyersdale RD 1; Mrs. Leora Fike of Berlin.  She was a
  member of the Summit Mills Church of the Brethren.
    Friends were received at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, Main
  Street, Boswell, where funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday
  with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes, officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
