LINDERMAN James Edward Linderman, 51, Confluence, died March 10, 1971, in a nursing home in Cleveland, Ohio. Born Nov. 29, 1919, in Ohiopyle, he was a son of Charles Linderman, Confluence, and the late Florence (Davis) Linderman. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. James Miller, Euclid, Ohio; Mrs. Charles Streng, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Ruth Stehle, Confluence; and four brothers: Freeman, Pittsburgh; Charles, New York; Ralph, Arizona; and Carl of San Diego, Calif. He was a member of the Christian Church, Confluence; a graduate of Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh Institute of Technology. Prior to his retirement due to ill health in 1961, he was employed as a chemist by Thompson-Ramo Woolridge, Inc., of Euclid. Funeral service was held Saturday morning in Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev. Igene Bonnell officiating. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. Meyersdale Republican, March 18, 1971 [L0897]
