   William S. Lindsay Sr., 70, Brothersvalley Township, died March 17, 2006, in
  Pittsburgh. Born April 2, 1935, in Gilmore, he is the son of the late Walter J. Lindsay
  Sr. and Leanne Ledbetter Lindsay Carver. Also preceded in death by a brother, Walter J.
  Lindsay Jr. Survived by his wife, the former Rita L. Harned; children, William S. Lindsay
  Jr. and wife, Dawn, Front Royal, Va.; Daniel K. Lindsay and wife, Jamie, Bedford; Mrs.
  Jeffery (Brenda L.) Robeson and Walter Jeffrey Lindsay both of Mechanicsville, Md.;
  grandchildren, Lindsay Louise Robeson, William S. Lindsay III and wife, Misty; Daniel K.
  Lindsay Jr., Christopher S. Lindsay; Jason Lindsay; and Charles Lindsay; and
  great-grandson, William Hunter Lindsay. Brother of Kenneth Lindsay, Upper Marlboro, Md.;
  James Lindsay, Indianhead; Dixie Lee Haddas, Chicago; and Virginia Karas, Smithville.
  Also his dog Cotton. Attended the Abundant Life Christian Center and former member of the
  Somerset Bassmasters. Employed as a painter for Local 1773 Uniters Painters and Allied
  Trades. Friends received 7 to 9 Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Monday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where a service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Samuel
  Coughenour officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be
  made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN
