    Mrs. Effie G. Ling, 92, of Listie, died March  26, 1983, at home. 
  Born Aug. 21, 1890, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of Samuel J. and
  Mary (Walker) Snyder.  Preceded in death by parents; first husband,
  Morton S. Hunter; second husband, William P. Ling; infant son,
  Samuel; and grandson, Donald E. Hunter.  Also four brothers and one
  sister.  Survived by these children: Glenn, married to former
  Elizabeth Wright, Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Edward (LuElla) Weimer,
  Shanksville; and Mrs. Richard (Jean) Mason, Youngstown, Ohio; foster
  daughter, Mrs. Mona Barndt, Listie; and step-daughter, Mrs. Fern
  Mostoller, Ocala, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
  one great-great-grandson.  Member of Faith Lutheran Church.  Family
  received friends Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Charles J.
  Hartbauer.  Interment, Mizpah Cemetery.
