    Elsie (Penrod) Ling, 94, of Gilbert Hollow Road, Hollsopple RD died
  June 1, 2001 at home.
    Born March 21, 1907 in Jenner Township.  Daughter of John and Eve
  (Eppley) Penrod.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Merle in
  1966, son Donald in 1991, daughter Fay in 1994, great-granddaughter
  Brittany in 1996, infant sister Alma, infant brother Alfred and
  brothers and sisters-in-law Cletus and wife Ada and Clayton and wife
  Elsie.  
    Survived by daughter Hazel at home, grandchildren Timothy and wife
  Cindy, Brian and wife Lee Ann and Scott, all of Mansfield, Ohio, and
  Heidi Hibbler, Columbus, Ohio, and great-grandchildren, Erica,
  Lindsay, Emily, Brianna, Adrienne, Brandon, Sydney, Marissa, and
  Austin.  A lifetime member of Centennial United Methodist Church,
  North Fork Road, Johnstown RD.  Devoted homemaker and loving mother,
  grandmother and great-grandmother.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Mark A.
  Griffith officiating.  Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery, Thomas
  Mills.
