  LING
  
    Richard K. Ling Sr., 63, of Stoystown, died July 23, 1996, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born May 13, 1933, in Windber, son of Ted and
  Ruth (Bracken) Ling.  Preceded in death by parents; son, Rick K. Ling
  Jr., and sister, Phyllis.  Survived by his wife, the former Dolley
  Peterman; daughter, Alisha, married to Dodd Fanale of York;
  granddaughter, Nikki Fanale, grandsons Petie and Matt Ling;
  stepfather, Charles Gibbons of Buffalo Mills.  Brother of Wilda and
  husband, Edward Hillegass, Walhonding, Ohio; Charles and wife, Gloria
  Gibbons, Hyndman; Neil and wife, Peggy Gibbons, Cleveland, Ohio; Larry
  and wife, Linda Gibbons, Marlin, Tenn.; and James and wife, Carol
  Gibbons, of Cairnbrook.  Also numerous nieces and nephews.  He
  retired from PennDOT as a paint crew foreman.  Army veteran of Korean
  Conflict.  Member of Heritage Baptist Church, Friedens; Post 554, VFW,
  Somerset, and Quemahoning Rod and Gun Club.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Revs. Russ
  Kessler and James R. Ling officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
