Ling, 64, of Homosassa, Fla., formerly of Carlisle and Somerset, died Sept. 24, 1995, at his residence. Born Feb. 12, 1931, in Somerset. Son of the late Harry Earle and Naomi (Dickson) Ling. Survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Jane Beck; two sons, David A. Ling of Mechanicsburg and Craig O. of Carmel, Calif., a daughter, Debra K. Fink of Bel Air, Md.; eight grandchildren. Brother of Hayes Ling of Somerset RD 4; Hubert Ling of Hooversville; Phyllis Walker of Buena Vista, Calif.; and Marjorie Thompson of South Bend, Ind. Former owner of the Best Western Inn in Carlisle, Pa. Member of First United Methodist Church of Homosassa, Carlisle Rotary Club, the Cumberland Star Masonic Lodge 197, F&AM, of Carlisle; Zembo Shrine Temple of Harrisburg and the Harrisburg Consistory. Graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Rockwood IOOF Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Calvary Methodist Church, Somerset, the Rev. Alan L. Beaver officiating.
