LINGENFELTER CONFLUENCE, June 15 - Emma H. Lingenfelter, 65, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. B. Younkin, last Wednesday morning, after a lingering illness of several years. However, she was only bedfast for a few days before her death. She was a daughter of the late George E. and Cora (McCellan) Cunningham who lived in Upper Turkeyfoot Township at the time of her birth. She was married to William Lingenfelter, who preceded her in death by six weeks. Survivors are one son, Earl Duveen of Detroit; three brothers, John of Pittsburgh and Frank and Charlie, here, and one sister, Mrs. Blaine Younkin with whom she had lived ever since the death of her husband. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Younkin home with Rev. Haines of Brownsville and Rev. Harold Kinard officiating. Interment was made in the Baptist Cemetery, directed by Samuel Black, mortician. Meyersdale Republican, June 17, 1943
