Linse, 56, of Maple Summit Rd., Ohiopyle, died May 11, 1987, in Fayette Health Care Center, Uniontown. Born Dec. 23, 1930, in Stanley, Wis., a son of Theresa (Thackler) Linse Morin, Santa Ana, Calif., and the late Ernest E. Linse. Also preceded in death by a brother, Harold. In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Elaine (Stark) Linse; and four sisters: Dorothy Baldeschewiler and Mildred Perret, both of Chippawa Falls, Wis,; Marie Kirchenbauer, San Antonio, Texas; and Esther Crusenberry, Santa Ana, Calif. He was a member of the Grantsville, Md., American Legion Post #214; the Ft. Necessity-Farmington VFW Post #265; and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association. Retired from the U.S. Marine Corps. Friends are being received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Daryl Harclerode officiating.
