Lint, 76, of Gray, died Nov. 6, 1972, in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born in Somerset Township, Feb. 17, 1896, a son of William J. and Annie (Smith) Lint. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harry; his first wife, Mabel Adams; and second wife, Eva Fritz. Surviving are his widow, E. Christine (Zorn) Lint, and these children: Roy D. Lint, of Rupert, W.Va.; Mrs. Ruby Mae Knupp of Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Alice Sipe of Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Shirley Bechtel of Somerset; and Gene A. of Mt. Clemens, Mich; and these stepchildren: Mrs. Alice Thomas, Somerset; Ralph Fritz; Meyersdale; Carl Fritz, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Hazel Weeks, Jennerstown, Mrs. Jean Shaffer, Sipesville; David Zorn, New Mexico; Ronald of Texas; Mrs. Ruth Rasson, Hooversville; Ribert of Germany; Ralph of Gray; and John B. of the U.S. Navy, Arlington, Va.; also 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. Jennie Knupp, Johnstown; Earl B. Lint, Somerset; Mrs. Neva Resh, Somerset RD 6; and Mrs. Hazel Hoffman, West Milton, Pa. A member of Acosta Church of God and a former Sunday School teacher of the church. He was a retired coal miner and retired employe [sic] of Somerset Door and Column Company. Funeral service was Friday in Acosta Church of God with Rev. Loyce J. Walker and Rev. Eli Miller officiating. Interment in Weller Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, November 16, 1972 [L0955]
