Lint, veteran Meyersdale mill hand, died Wednesday evening, June 28, at the age of 80 years and five months. He was born Jan. 29, 1864, in Greenville Township, the son of Noah and Sarah (Glotfelty) Lint. He married Annie E. Shumaker, who preceded him in death. Surviving are three sons, William E., Sacramento, Calif.; John N., Meyersdale, and James G., Larimer Twp., one brother, Francis, Greenville Twp.; five sisters, Miss Annie, Frostburg; Mrs. Susan McPhail, Meyersdale; Mrs. Catherine Graham, Cresaptown, Md., and Misses Ellen and Clara, Greenville Twp., and two grandchildren. Mr. Lint served for many years as a member of the Consistory of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, of which he was a good and faithful member. He was a teacher and assistant superintendent of the Sunday School for a long time. In addition to his connections with the local church, he was a well known layman in Somerset Classis, and represented his church at meetings of the Classis, Synod and General Synod. Funeral services will be held in the Reformed Church Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. Nelson C. Brown. Interment will be made in the Union Cemetery, under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, local mortician. The body will be in state in the church one hour prior to the funeral services. Meyersdale Republican, June 29, 1944
