ROSE A. LINT

  Mrs. Rose A. (Shipley) Lint, 78, wife of Harry Lint, died Wednesday morning at 
5 o'clock at her home on Beachley Street.  She had been in ill health for the 
past year.  A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Shipley, she was born on January 
18, 1864, in Howard County, Maryland.  Surviving are her husband, who is a 
retired manager of the Dull Merchantile Company, and two children: Lucille, wife 
of William Thornley, Connellsville, and William Lint, residing in Kentucky.  
Also surviving are six grandchildren.  A daughter, Mary Lint, is dead.  Mrs. 
Lint had been a resident of Meyersdale for the past 40 years.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Lint 
home by Rev. DeWitt L. Miller, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, of which 
Mrs. Lint was a member.  Interment will be in the Union Cemetery.
