  MARY E. LIPSCOMB
  
    Mary E. Lipscomb, 89, of Alder Street, died Aug. 9, 1981 in
  Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland, Md.
    She was born March 12, 1892 near Oakland, Md., she was a daughter
  of the late David Lee and Mary (Harvey) Lee.  Her husband, James T.
  Lipscomb, preceded her in death.
    She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lula Shaffer, Baltimore,
  Md.; Mrs. Sylvia Liller and Mrs. Irene Pifer, both of Oakland, Md.;
  Mrs. Rachel Runion, Stephens City, Va.; Mrs. Ruth Worfield, Garrett;
  one son, U. Grant Lipscomb, Youngstown, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, five
  step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, where
  services were conducted by Rev. Ralph Wycoff.  Interment will be Mt.
  Carmel Cemetery, Aurora, W. Va.
