Lisbon, 60, 137 Bedford St., Jenners, died unexpectedly Sept. 28, 1987, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born May 13, 1927, in Roytown, son of Robert F. Sr. and Ellen Louise (Beackon) Lisbon. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Robert Jr. Survived by wife, former Jean Ohler; and these children: Robert L., married to former Betty Baker, Wellsburg, W. Va.; Roy E., married to former Kathleen Dedik, Helen L., wife of James Henry, both of Jenners; Peggy J., wife of Elwood Ott, Jr., Quecreek; and Randy L., married to former Kathleen Fuschino, Stoystown RD 1; also 15 grandchildren. Brother of: Kenneth, married to former Shirley Berkey, Boswell; Clyde and Eileen, wife of Franklin King, both of Lawton, Okla. Member of Tire Hill Local 998, UMW of A; Jerome Nest 556, Polish Falcons of America; Boswell Post 461, American Legion; Somerset County Oldtimers Baseball Association; and Jenner Rod and Gun Club where he served as director. Navy veteran of World War II; retired employee of Island Creek Coal Company, Tire Hill, with 37 years of service; observed 41st wedding anniversary July 22, 1987. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.
