Liston, 72, of Aspinwall, formerly of Mill Run, died Sept. 26, 1998 at the V.A. Medical Center, Aspinwall. He was born Aug. 11, 1926, in Valley Forge, Pa., a son of the late Edward B. and Anna Ruth (Hall) Liston. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Ruth (Heasley) Liston; four daughters: Carol Coddington of Somerset, Donna Liston of Ford City, Cheryl Bowser of Worthington and Stephanie Charney of Slate Lick; three sons, James of Worthington, Ronald and Steven, both of Ford City; seven grandchildren and one great-grandaughter [sic]; a sister, Loretta Pyle of Somerset, and a brother, Joseph Liston, of Ohiopyle. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea and a member of the Kittanning American Legion, VFW and DAV. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Maple Summit Cemetery.
