LIVELY Glenville Elwood Lively, 61, of Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Friday, July 21, 1989 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born Dec. 17, 1927 in Meadow Bridge, W.Va., he was a son of the late Frazier and Olivia (Richmond) Lively. He was a retired coal miner and railroader and served as a private in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his widow, Ethel (Goddard) Lively; three daughters: Mrs. Linda Riley, Lonaconing, Md.; Mrs. Debbie Meadows, Mountain Lake Park, Md.; and Mrs. Katherine Barnett, Columbus, Ohio; one son, Gary Lively, Grantsville, Md.; three stepsons: James Barker, Dalton, Ga.; Robert Barker, Azusa, Cal., and Richard Barker, Fayetteville, W.Va.; one sister, Mrs. Grace Talas, League City, Texas; a half-brother, Neuman McGuire, Meadow Bridge, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. Services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. William Ferguson officiating.
