All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ ADIE LIVENGOOD Grantsville, Maryland Mrs. Adie Livengood, widow of Morris Livengood, died about 9 o'clock Friday morning, Jan. 24, at her home near Casselman. She was 36. Born at Meyersdale, June 23, 1905, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowser. For a number of years she resided at Grantsville, occupying the "Smouse" property, but for the past four years she had lived in the Casselman community. Her husband died about three years ago. Surviving are her father, Charles Bowser, Meyersdale, and the following children: Charles, James, Robert and Vada Livengood, at home, Ray Livengood, Lockhaven, Md., and Earl Livengood, who makes his home in Meyersdale with his grandfather. Three brothers, John Bowser, Hooversville, Pa., Clyde Bowser, Somerset, Pa., and Ernest Bowser, Meyersdale, and two sisters, Ethel and Mary Bowser, Meyersdale, also survive. The body was removed to Meyersdale where it was prepared for burial. After a short service at the parental home funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Casselman Mennonite Church, of which the deceased was a member for several years. Rev. Roy Kinsinger and Rev. Roy Otto officiated and interment was in the Casselman Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, January 30, 1941
