She was married to Wilbert E. Livengood in 1892. To this union were born four children, Harry and Myron of Pinto, Maryland, Orville of Wyoming, Pa., and Beulah, who died when a young child. She united with the Mennonite Church in her youth, and remained a faithful member until death. Mrs. Livengood attended the Otto family reunion on the old homestead near Grantsville, Maryland, on August 20, and at that time complained of not feeling well. The following Sunday night she became quite ill and the doctor pronounced it intestinal flu. Other complications set in which caused her considerable suffering. Five years ago Mrs. Livengood was seriously ill and the doctors at that time had given up hope for her recovery. Her life was spared, however, but since that time she was not well. Mrs. Livengood was a quiet, unassuming person, and lived practically her entire lifetime since her marriage in Springs, Pa. She is survived by her husband, Wilbert E. Livengood, and three sons, Harry, Orville and Myron, and five sisters, Mrs. G. D. Miller and Mrs. H. M. Gelnett, of Springs; Mrs. W. J. Livengood and Mrs. Wilson Folk, of Grantsville, Md., and Mrs. Daniel Zeigler of Somerset; also one brother, J. J. Otto, of Springs. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. S. G. Shetler of Johnstown, assisted by Rev. Roy Otto of Springs. Wm. Winterberg of Grantsville had charge of the burial arrangements and interment was made in the Springs cemetery. Her pallbearers were six nephews - Dwight and Myron Miller, Ed Kolb, Homer Livengood, Cloyd Otto and Bruce Folk. Her funeral was very largely attended. Meyersdale Republican, September 15, 1932
