Livengood, 72, Springs, died at her home on Tuesday, March 21, after a lingering illness. Born in Springs, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Newman) King. She was the widow of Homer Livengood. Mrs. Livengood was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church and the Springs Sewing Circle. Surviving are four sons, Willard Livengood, Springs; Wayne, Masontown; Kirk, Tippecanoe; and Oren, Altoona; a daughter, Mrs. Violetta Coblentz, Meyersdale; also 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Verna Maust, Springs. Funeral service was held on Friday afternoon at Springs Mennonite Church, with Revs. Walter Otto and James Burkholder, officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
