Livengood, 87, of Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1997, at her residence after a brief illness. She formerly lived on Janet Avenue, Lancaster. She was the wife of James E. Livengood. They celebrated their 64th anniversary on Sept. 1, 1996. Born in Salisbury to the late T. Fred and Sarah E. Beynon Wagner, she had lived in the Lancaster area since 1947. She was a graduate of Duffs City College in Pittsburgh. She was employed as a secretary for the advertising department of Armstrong World Industries of Lancaster for 23 years, where she was very established in the business world, retiring in 1971. Mrs. Livengood was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Brethren. Her interests include playing bridge, the business world, and traveling where she visited 66 countries. She is survived by her husband. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Salisbury Cemetery in Salisbury with the Rev. Daniel J. Whitacre officiating.
