CLAYTON LIVENGOOD July 25, 1924 - October 17, 2003 G. Clayton Livengood, 79, of 317 Sunset Dr., Cumberland, Md., and formerly of Grantsville, Md., died Friday, October 17, 2003, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born July 25, 1924, in Springs, he was a son of the late Fay Otis and Ressie (Rembold) Livengood. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, David Wilson. Mr. Livengood was the owner and operator of Livengood Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and a charter member of the Grantsville Lions Club. A U.S. Army veteran of WW II, he was a member of the Grantsville American Legion, Post 214 and the Meyersdale DAV. He is survived by his wife, Jean K. (Yommer) Livengood; one son, Bradley Livengood and his wife Millie, North Potomac, Md.; one daughter, Julia Wilson and husband Tom, Kissimmee, Fla.; one brother, Guy Livengood, Springs; one sister, Dorothy Lenhart and husband Belmont, Boynton; and seven grandchildren; Spencer, Chase, Victoria and Keri Ann Livengood and Sarah, Adam and Rachel Wilson. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville on Saturday. Services were conducted in the funeral home on Sunday, with the Rev. Jerry Rogers officiating.
