Livengood, 79, Braddock, formerly of Fort Hill, died Jan. 19, 1988, in St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born May 13, 1908, in Addison Township, son of the late Lewis and Myrtle (Schweitzer) Livengood. Married to the former Edna Sipe. Also surviving are three sons: Dale of West Homestead, Gene of Berlin and Paul of Wilmerding; and three daughters: Ferne Conn and Nancy Beachy, both of Fort Hill, and Linda Rager of Mineral Point; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three sisters: Velma Rush and Edna Tressler, both of Markleton, and Violet Rush of Warren, Ohio; and a brother, Alva of Fort Hill. Preceded in death by four brothers. Retired from U.S. Steel Homestead Works. Friends will be received 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. John Dobritch officiating.
