Livengood, 79, of Court Ave., Somerset, died August 8, 1993 at Somerset Hospital. Born June 12, 1914 in Frostburg, MD, he was the son of the late Peter L. and Minnie Livengood. He was preceded in death by a stepmother, Belle Livengood; daughter, Sandra L.; nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Elthea Saylor Livengood; son, Timothy J., Stoystown RD 2; and daughter-in-law, Linda; also three grandchildren, Joseph, Erica and Chad, and two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Logon. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. He was retired after 39 years of service with Penelec. He was a member of FOE Aerie 1801, Somerset, serving as secretary of the club for 27 years. He was Pennsylvania Eagle of the year in 1981. Friends were received Aug. 9 and services were conducted Aug. 10 at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Pastor Robert L. Hoover officiating. Interment Husband Cemetery.
