She was suddenly taken ill on the Tuesday before her death. She was aged 82 years, 6 months and 11 days, having been born in Addison Township on July 25, 1848. Her maiden name was Lavina Enos. In her young womanhood she married Mahlon Livengood who died in 1906. Two sons preceded her to the grave. The surviving children are: Calvin H., Henry and Lewis Livengood, Mary Livengood, Mrs. Annie Gower, Mrs. Etta Matthews, and Mrs. Ollie Tressler, all of whom reside in the section of Addison Township in which the family home was located. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. All her brothers and sisters preceded her to the grave. She was a member of the Reformed Church since girlhood and a sincere christian woman whose long life was useful and well spent. Funeral services were held in the Silbaugh Church on Saturday, February 7, Rev. H. W. Jamison of Confluence officiating. Interment was made in the Silbaugh Cemetery. The pallbearers were the three sons above mentioned and three grandsons, Percy Livengood, Paul Matthews and Mahlon Gower. Undertaker C. B. Humbert of Confluence had charge of funeral arrangements.
