LIVENGOOD Mrs. Lizzie Jane Livengood died at the home of her son, Fay O. Livengood, RD 1, Salisbury, Sunday, September 4, of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Livengood suffered a fracture of her hip as the result of a fall in June, and has been bedfast since that time. She was born at Casselman, Garrett Co., Md., on August 26, 1876, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Otto, and was 73 years and 9 days in age. She is survived by three sons, Homer Livengood, Grantsville, Route 1; Fay O. Livengood, Salisbury, Route 1, and Miles Livengood, Swanton, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Nettie Rembold, Grantsville, Route 1; one brother, J. J. Otto, Springs; one sister, Mrs. Mary Gelnet, Springs; 27 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Livengood was a member of the Casselman Mennonite Church. Funeral services were conducted in the Springs Mennonite Church at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday with the pastor, the Rev. Roy Otto officiating. Interment in the Casselman Cemetery, Casselman, Md., in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, September 8, 1949
