LIVENGOOD Mrs. Sabina A. Livengood, widow of Ananias S. Livengood, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louvina McCoy at Woodbine, Kansas, May 13 in her 87th year. She was born October 29, 1855 in Somerset County, Pa., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Enfield of Middlecreek Township, long since deceased. She married Ananias S. Livengood, a young farmer of Elk Lick Township, about the year 1875, and in 1883 emigrated with her husband and children to the state of Kansas where she lived the rest of her life. Her husband, who was five years her senior, passed away six years ago at the age of 86. Mrs. Livengood is survived by one son and four daughters - Freeman Livengood and Mrs. Louvina McCoy of Woodbine, Kansas; Mrs. Anna Gugler of Chapman, Kansas; Mrs. Martha Smith of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Bertha Billings, of Pittsburg, Kansas. One son, William, came to his death accidently at the age of nine years. She left a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Livengood was a very devout Christian woman, an active member of the Nazarene Church in her Kansas home town, Woodbine, Dickinson County, for many years. Funeral services were conducted in her home church by her pastor, Rev. Willis Lambert, on Sunday, May 3, followed by interment in the Woodbine cemetery. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers. Mrs. Livengood was a sister-in-law of W. S. and P. L. Livengood, her husband having been their eldest brother. Meyersdale Republican, May 21, 1942
