Livengood, 57, of 55110 Iroquois Street, College Park, formerly of LaVale, was dead on arrival July 17, 1978 at Memorial Hospital. Born in Salisbury, Pa., he was a son of the late Harrison Livengood and Ruth (Jones) Livengood. A retired employee of General Services Administration, he was a member of Jessup Rod and Gun Club, Birmingham Lodge 188, AF and AM, Beltsville, and Hollywood Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the 80th Division and a past chief of the LaVale Fire Company. Surviving are his widow, Lona M. (Crock) Livengood; a son, Gerald W. Livengood, Portland, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Grisso, Upper Marlboro; a brother, Donald Livengood, Long Island, N.Y.C.; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Smith, LaVale, and four grandchildren. Services will be conducted at the Silcox Merritt Funeral Residence Thursday at 1 p.m. Rev. R. R. Hatcher will officate [sic]. Interment, Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Republic, June 20, 1978 [L1078]
