"Livvy" Livengood, 86, of Rockwood passed away Feb. 28, 2000 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Feb. 12,1914 in Springs. Son of Harvey and Fern (Phillippi) Livengood. Preceded in death by parents, first wife Evelyn (Mardis) Livengood and son Harold. Survived by wife Katherine (White) Livengood, sons William Livengood of Arlington, Va., and James (married to Connie Fike) Nicholson of Tullohoma, Tenn., and daughters Patricia married to James Stevanus of Rockwood and Barbara married to Antonio Poli of Kalkaska, Mich. Also grandchildren Tim Stevanus, Matthew and Michael Nicholson, Colleen Beckstead and Giovanni Poli and great-grandchildren Katey and J.T. Nicholson, Holden Stevanus and Alexandra Beckstead. Brother of Vera Wahl of Rockwood, Thelma Cox, Inyokern, Calif., John Livengood of Somerset and Billy Livengood of Rockwood. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved outdoor life. Member of the Trent Rod and Gun Club and attended Somerset Church of the Brethren. He was a retired carpenter and member of Union Local 462 in Greensburg. Member of the Fortitude Lodge 188 of the F. & A.M. of Two Harbors, Minn. Friends will be received 1:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Kenneth Davis officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Daily American, March 1, 200 [L1079]
