Well known in this section of the county because of his extensive real estate holdings at Boynton, but who has been a resident of Somerset for many years, Frank O. Livengood, at the advanced age of four score, died in the latter place Sunday evening at his residence on Main Street. The deceased was a son of Jacob Livengood who for many years run the grist mill at Boynton, and who made a small fortune from disposing of the mineral rights of a large farm at that place. The elder Mr. Livengood came into possession of $15,000 option money on a proposed purchase for $65,000. The son, Frank Livengood followed in the calling of his father and he has been receiving a royalty from coal mines. At present this is being carried on by the Rowe Bros. Following his marriage about 40 years ago to Mrs. Araminta Chorpening he became a resident of Somerset. He is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. George Brallier, of Berlin. Mr. Livengood followed milling in his early manhood and accumulated a comfortable competency. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon with interment in the Samuel's Cemetery, near Lavansville. Meyersdale Commercial, Mar. 23, 1916
