Llewellyn, Jr., died suddenly at the home of his parents, at 129 Broadway, Berlin on Sunday morning, May 30. He was born January 31, 1931, at Belle Vernon, Pa., the son of Thomas J. and Nellie B. (Hauger) Llewellyn of Berlin. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters, besides his parents: Carl, Hagerstown, Md., Blodwen, Wash.; Anne, Berlin, and Barbara Weyant, Berlin. Also his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Annie B. Hauger. The family moved from Belle Vernon, to Berlin in 1945. Thomas was a junior in B.B.H.S. He was active in sports, being on the football team, basketball manager and sports editor of the "Mountain Ear", school magazine. He had a pleasing personality and was popular with his school mates and was a favorite in the family of which he was the youngest child. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 1, at 2:30 p.m. in the Johnson Funeral Home, the Rev. Ira R. Harkins officiating. Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, June 3, 1948
