Born March 8, 1907 in Glencoe. Daughter of Frank and Harriet Eva (Poorbaugh) Miller. Preceded in death by parents, brothers John and Karl Bruce Miller. Mrs. Lloyd was devoted to her family. She is survived by her busband, Samuel J. Lloyd MD, whom she married Feb. 10, 1942; sons, Samuel J. and wife Lori of Warrenton, Va. and David J. and wife Mary of Madison, N.J.; daughter Mary B. and husband John Bailey of Bensalem, Pa.; brothers Earl and Maurice Miller; sisters, Marion Miller, Emily McTighe and Ruth Cropf, and grandchildren, Samuel J. III, Erica S., Heather M., Melissa B., Brandon R., Tyler M., D. Mark, and James W. Lloyd. She was a 1926 graduate of Meyersdale High School. She was a 1930 graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Trenton, N.J. where she had served as a trustee, deacon and treasurer of the Women's Association. She also was a member Mercer Hospital Auxiliary where she volunteered and helped with fund raising events. She also was one of the first volunteers for the Meals on Wheels program in Trenton. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, Rev. Steven D. Heintz. Interment, Mt Lebanon Cemetery.
