   Daniel Joseph Lobefalo, 88, Somerset, died Feb. 7, 2007 at Memorial Regional Hospital,
  Hollywood, Fla. Born Nov. 11, 1918, in Philadelphia, a son of Giovanni and Teresa
  (Ponticelli) Lobefalo. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Mary Alice Day, who
  died July 14, 2002, and brothers, Anthony and Peter Lobefalo. Survived by sister, Mrs.
  Anthony (Mary Ann) Castellucci, Hollywood, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews. A
  member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and graduate of South Philadelphia High School. A
  U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and worked for more than 20 years until his retirement
  in 1977 as an electrical engineer for General Electric. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Sunday, Feb. 18 at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. A funeral Mass will be
  conducted 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset. Committal St.
  John's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic School, 433
  West Church St., Somerset, PA 15501. Vigil for the deceased will be held 8:45 p.m. Sunday
  at the funeral home.
