  Mary Alice Lobefalo, 81, of Somerset died July 14, 2002 at Memorial
  Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 7, 1921 in Blaine, W.Va.
  daughter of Benjamin P. and Bertie Lee (Iser) Day.  Preceded in death
  by parents, three sisters: Vivian Day, Edith Shaffer and Edna Baker,
  and three brothers: Lewis Day, Robert Day, and Homer Day.  Survived
  by husband: Daniel Joseph Lobefalo to whom she was married 55
  years.  Sister of Mrs. Elma Miller of Somerset; Mrs. Nell Kaley of
  Carnegie, and Melvin Lee Day of Somerset.  A 1942 graduate of
  Somerset High School.  Volunteer for American Cancer Society,
  American Diabetes Foundation and American Heart Association.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home.  Funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St.
  Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli
  celebrant.  Vigil for deceased at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral
  home.  Committal, St. John's Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to
  the American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd. Suite 700,
  Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235.
