  Ray Lockard Sr., 76, Confluence, formerly of Meyersdale, died Sept. 11, 2005,
  at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 26, 1929, in Barnesboro, a son of the late
  Alvin and Della Mae (Keith) Lockard. Preceded in death by brothers, William,
  Guy and Oscar Lockard; and sisters, Eva and Margaret Lockard and Dorothy
  Richter. Survived by his wife, Mildred (Grenz) Lockard and children: Ray
  Lockard Jr. and wife, Colleen, Jenners; Max Lockard and wife, Johnna,
  Confluence and Cynthia, wife of Edward Knopsnyder, Salisbury. Also survived by
  grandchildren, Melinda Zimmerman and Heidi Knopsnyder; and great-grandchildren,
  Autumn and Syrus Zimmerman, all of Salisbury. Also survived by these sisters:
  Genevieve Watson, Elizabeth Lockard, Irene Kizak, Agnes Hafko and Odessa
  Adkins; and nieces, Margaret Lockard and Patricia Beavers. He was a member of
  the Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale. He was a paratrooper with the 82nd
  Airborne U.S. Army, Korea. He was a retired employee of the Purolator Courier
  Corp. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the M.
  Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m.
  Wednesday. The Rev. Frank E. Harpster III officiating. Interment in Union
  Cemetery, Meyersdale

    Ray Lockard, Sr., 76, of Confluence, formerly of Meyersdale, died Sunday,
  September 11, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. 
    Born August 26, 1929, in Barnesboro, he was a son of the late Alvin and Della
  Mae (Keith) Lockard. 
    He was preceded in death by brothers: William, Guy, and Oscar Lockard and
  sisters: Eva and Margaret Lockard, and Dorothy Richter. 
    He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Grenz) Lockard and these children: Ray
  Lockard Jr. and wife Colleen of Jenners; Max Lockard and wife Johnna of
  Confluence; and Cynthia, wife of Edward Knopsnyder of Salisbury. Also survived
