Born in Corriganville, Md. on May 7, 1933, she was the daughter of Anna Mae (Burkett) Starkey, Cresaptown, Md. and the late Charles Herman Starkey. She was a member of Livingstone Church of the Brethren. Also surviving are her husband, Walter D. Logsdon Sr.; three sons: Walter D. Logsdon Jr., Hagerstown, Md.; and Robert M. Logsdon and David L. Logsdon, both of Pinto; two daughters: Mrs. Sherry L. Beitzel and Mrs. Laura L. Jedlowski, both of Pinto; two brothers: William Starkey, Hyndman, and Herman Starkey Jr., Wellersburg; two sisters: Mrs. Hilda Mellott, Cumberland, Md.; and Mrs. Geraldine Goss, Cresaptown and four grandchildren. Friends were received in the Scarpelli Funeral Home, where services were conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Livingstone Church of the Brethren by the Rev. John Huffaker. Interment, Rocky Gap Veteran Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Eisentrout, Eric Robinette, William Wilson, Steve Gurtler, Steve Tichnell and Terry McCullough. The Republic, October 9, 1986 [L1135]
