Born Feb. 24, 1910, in Brothersvalley Township, a daughter of Frank and Anna (Evanochka) Mohilchock. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, George Hummel; a son, George; granddaughter, Belinda; and a sister, Mary. Survived by her husband, Ward E., and these children: John A. Hummel, married to the former Dorothy Pritts, Milton; Mrs. James (Rose Ann) Ludy, Mechanicsburg; Mrs. John (Jean) Stoddard, Somerset RD 7; Mrs. William (Nancy) Walker, Harleysville; Mrs. Stanley (Patricia Joyce) Scheller, Berlin; and Mrs. Donald (Linda) Fetterolf, Somerset RD 4; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Geneva McVicker, Berlin RD 4; 21 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Catherine Biconish, Mrs. Charles (Elsie) Sauger, Miss Fannie Mohilchock, Mrs. Sam (Helen) Zelaska, Peter Mohilchock, all of Binghamton, N.Y.; Charles Mohilchock, Rome, N.Y.; and John Mohilchock, Hemet, Calif. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul's Russian Orthodox Church, Goodtown, and the Berlin VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home. Requiem mass Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul's Church with the Rev. John Govrusik officiating. A short prayer service at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Parastas at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment, Pine Hill Orthodox Cemetery.
